HOW TO DROW MANGA

I’m almost 100% sure that person who wrote that book was the person who wrote another similar book that inspired me to draw. (mostly because the characters look pretty much identical to the ones in my book) Yes it’s shitty but I might have not been in art school if it weren’t for that shitty book. I will also note to you that i was 10 when i got it and it also started my “How to draw”/ art book collecting. I’m almost finishing my sophomore year in art school and i still to this day treasure that book.

Back in the day, I owned this one and a Christopher Hart “Manga Mania.” It should be noted that this gal at least had some useful beginner tips on color theory.

So as far as I’m concerned, she is literally a better artist than Christopher Hart.

[Original by OkCupid. You should really read the whole post because it’s fascinating. Found on KNOWHomo.]
